Don't be like NSG! Avoid these FIVE FOODS at the supermarket!

Image
NSG headed to the supermarket... After working her butts off throughout the day, She headed to the roadside to buy her regular dinner of chicken and chips -the ajekpako version of C&C...  i.e aboki fried yam & chicken which cost roughly N300 -(Chicken N200, yam N100).  NSG starts to crave... As soon as she got into the supermarket, she noticed an ajebota family (The man, his little daughter, and his wife) pulling a cart of groceries and licking a stick sweet while they shopped. The sweet looked really tempting and I started craving for one. She picked the coke from the fridge and went to the counter to pay when she saw her new favorite gum, the N50 trident!  NSG gets tempted... Close to where the Trident lay, she saw different colours of the sweet the ajebota family were licking and since she has never paid more than N30 for a sweet, she decided to add one to her cart containing the coke and gum and gave the counter lady her N500. The counter-lady packaged her stuff and handed

Evelyn Moore who was just four-months-old when d octors noticed a lump protruding from her spine, has proved categorically that, nothing can stop her!    Thanks to her parents..:-) Mr and Mrs Moore wanted their daughter, who is now 13-month-old to have the freedom that any other toddler would have, so they decided to build her very own wheelchair , which is made from a kitchen cutting board, a Bumbo chair and tiny wheels from a children's bike, cost around $100 to make!  Proud parents..:-D. The Canadian-couple said their baby was just four months, doctors noticed a lump protruding from her spine that was later diagnosed as a stage four neuroblastoma tumour. The little girl went through eight rounds of chemotherapy to treat the tumour but after hearing that she was in remission, her parents Kim and Brad received heartbreaking news. Evelyn's tumour had crushed her spine at T4, leaving her paralysed below her arms ..:-( ''I was on Pinterest and I found a really cool whee

A 23-years-old Spartanburg SC woman (pictured above), Kimberly Nicole Martines has been charged with homicide by child abuse.(BTW, is that blusher on her cheek?:) WECT gathered that, the mother of  a 17-month-old girl, Peyton Martines, killed her baby by feeding Peyton a teaspoon of sodium chloride(salt). Allegedly speaking, Kimberly told authorities that, she did so in an effort to "get her husband," from whom she is separated, "back into her life." Martines says, she was awakened on Sunday by Peyton screams. CBS News further added that she saw the child was having seizures and called 911. Baby Peyton was unfortunately diagnosed with an acute case of salt poisoning—which, if too much is ingested, the sodium in salt and soy sauce can cause seizures, coma, and in some cases, death! According to arrest warrants, a pediatrician was concerned in November because Peyton was not gaining weight. But Martines ignored the doctor's referrals to a specialist and BabyNet,

These Nigerian children do not have Ovarian Cancer, But....

Image
Of course, They do not have ovarian cancer! They are boys, and boys don't have Ovaries!  ''But, why are they crying''? Did you ask? ''Did something or someone hurts them?'' ''Are they hungry?'' Well, These boys are neither hurt by something/someone nor are They hungry. (Though, They may be). But, Allow me to say that, these two young Nigerian siblings, 11 and 10, together with their mother and other, over 150 migrants, were all in a  rubber boat enjoying the cool breeze of the Mediterranean ocean, on their way to Europe in search of greener pastures. Unfortunately, for the young boys, death came and took their mother away! :-(... Hmm, Death, the end product of an overcrowded rubber boat! #Sad. Well, Thanks to God they have been rescued from their overcrowded rubber boat off the coast of Libya into Italy by a Spanish NGO’s boat. We human being tends to get it wrong at times. The grass may not be greener on the other side. All it takes
