How to celebrate Xmas...

Enjoying my blog??? pls leave a comment!!! lol...I'm hard working sha, if nobody praises me, I praise myself *just kidding* Meanwhile, I found out that, many people(Christians) don't know how to celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ....so I decided to share my own "little" knowledge about it. Enjoy!

HOW TO CELEBRATE XMAS:
Christmas has become a very commercial holiday.
Rushing around to buy presents, people tend to
forget the true meaning of Christmas. Aside from
big dinners and expensive gifts, there are other
ways to celebrate that reflect the true meaning of
the holiday, and give the gifts to the One whose
birthday it is!
Let's go:


Reflect on the reason for Christmas by doing
some research. In the Bible, you can find the
Christmas story in the book of Luke, Chapters 1
and 2.

Choose some activities that you and your friends
or family will enjoy and which fit with the meaning of
Christmas and are also socially enjoyable.
Consider preparing some special foods for the poor
and needy, as well as giving gifts to people you
know. Learn some of the non-commercialized
Christmas songs;

Spend quality time with others to celebrate;

Spend time quietly being thankful for the gift of
Jesus to the world that we celebrate on Christmas;

Invite God to come and celebrate the day with
you and Remember your Christmas may not have white
snow-topped trees, or a huge pile of presents, or a
wonderful choir singing Christmas carols, but your
Christmas celebration and thankfulness are all that
is required to properly celebrate. Anything more is
a bonus....yes! Anything more(Chicken, rice, clothes, and shoes) are "bonus"

Don't be like NSG! Avoid these FIVE FOODS at the supermarket!

NSG headed to the supermarket... After working her butts off throughout the day, She headed to the roadside to buy her regular dinner of chicken and chips -the ajekpako version of C&C...  i.e aboki fried yam & chicken which cost roughly N300 -(Chicken N200, yam N100).  NSG starts to crave... As soon as she got into the supermarket, she noticed an ajebota family (The man, his little daughter, and his wife) pulling a cart of groceries and licking a stick sweet while they shopped. The sweet looked really tempting and I started craving for one. She picked the coke from the fridge and went to the counter to pay when she saw her new favorite gum, the N50 trident!  NSG gets tempted...
